NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 266, subsection (4), of the above Act, that the under-mentioned companies have been struck off the Register for the District of Otago:—

NEW LYNN TOWN BOARD.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the New Lynn Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of six hundred and fifty pounds, authorized to be raised by the New Lynn Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of road-construction work on the following roads and streets within the Hetana Hamlet Special-rating District—namely, Gardner Street, Hutchinson Avenue, Islington Street, Margan Avenue, Parker Avenue, Seabrook Avenue, Titirangi Road, Willerton Street, and Ward Street—the said New Lynn Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 33/64ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Hetana Hamlet Special-rating District, comprising the whole of the Hetana Hamlet Special-rating District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the New Lynn Town Board at a meeting held on the 14th day of June, 1915.

HAWERA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hawera Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the Hawera Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following purpose—viz., to complete asphalting of footpaths—the said Hawera Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 353/1,000ths of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Hawera, comprising the whole of the Borough of Hawera; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of resolution passed at a meeting of the Hawera Borough Council on the 14th day of July, 1915.
