Herd Road. Bounded towards the south by State coal-mine
reserve for 263·69 links, towards the west by State coal-mine
reserve for 100 links, towards the north by State coal-mine
reserve for 269·93 links, towards the east by Herd Road for
91·03 links, and for a further distance of 9·18 links to the
place of commencement.
All that area in the Westland Land District, situated in
Block III, Cobden Survey District, containing by admeasure-
ment 3 roods 34·5 perches, more or less, commencing at the
point of the south-side intersection of Ward Street extension
and Herd Road. Bounded towards the north by Ward Street
extension for 240·67 links, towards the west and south by
State coal-mine reserve for 400 links and 273·4 links re-
spectively, towards the east by Herd Road in a north-
westcrly direction for 64·29 links, and thence in a northerly
direction for 340·8 links to the place of commencement.
