FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the
Featherston County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of constructing bridges over the Turanganui
and Waihora Streams within the Turanganui Riding of the
county, and doing all things necessary for and incidental to
the construction of the said bridges, the Featherston County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth
(⅙) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within
the Turanganui Riding of the County of Featherston; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of July in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.
The common seal of the Featherston County Council was
hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of
the Featherston County Council in the presence of—

WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.—MAKARETU LOAN,
£1,600.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund on a loan of £1,600, authorized to be raised by the
Waikohu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of forming 4½ miles of the Makaretu Road
14 ft. wide, and widening 2½ miles from 8 ft. to 14 ft., the
Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of seven farthings (1¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the Makaretu Special-rating
Area, comprising Secs. 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, of Block III;
Sec. 4 of Block VI; Secs. 3, 4, 6, of Block VII; all in the
Ngatapa Survey District. And, further, that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July
in each and every year during a period of thirty-six and a half
(36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan out of
loan-moneys.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and In-
habitants of the County of Waikohu was hereto affixed in the
presence of—

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Waikohu Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the
Waikohu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of erecting a bridge across the Waipaoa River
near Whatatutu, the Waikohu County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Te Hau
Special-rating Area, comprising Lots 5, part 4, and A, Wai-
garomia; Lots 15, 17, 19, Waingaromia C; 5B, 5A, 1A, 1B,
6, 7A, Hauomatuku; Lot 13, Pakakeawhirikoka; Lots 3
and 4, Mangataikapua; Lot 7, Waitangi 2B; Lots 8, 9, 10,
11, Waingaromia 1C; part Sub. 1, Block IV, Mangatu S.D.;
part Waipaoa No. 2; part Lot 1, Pakakeawhirikoka; Lot 2,
Mangataikapua A; Lot 12, Waingaromia A; Lot 2, part
Pakakeawhirikoka 3/4; part Waitangi 2A; part Waingaro-
mia C; part Waitangi No. 1; part Lot 1, Mangataikapua.
And, further, that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the first day of July in each and every year

(LIMITED).
AT extraordinary general meetings of the above-named
company duly convened and held respectively on the
tenth day of June, 1915, and the twenty-eighth day of June,
1915, the subjoined special resolutions were duly passed
and confirmed:—
- That the company be wound up voluntarily under the
provisions of the Companies Act, 1908. - That Messieurs James Carlaw, William Henry Atkin,
Arthur William Page, Charles James Shaw, and John
Carlaw (the directors of the company) be and they are
hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such
winding-up.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the under-
signed WILLIAM ROBERT LEACH BIRD and DANIEL
FRAME BARRIE, trading at Dunedin under the firm-name of
“ The Wellpark Manufacturing Company,” has been dissolved
by mutual consent as from the twelfth day of July, 1915.
The business will in future be carried on by the said WILLIAM
ROBERT LEACH BIRD alone, and all accounts due to or by the
late firm will be received and paid respectively by him.
