the Executive Council of the said Dominion, made certain regulations under and for the purposes of the said Act : And whereas it is expedient to amend the said regulations in manner hereinafter appearing :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority aforesaid, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said regulations by revoking paragraph (f) of clause four thereof, and substituting in lieu thereof the following paragraph :-
(f.) In respect of every debenture for which coupons are issued under this clause the holder of the debenture shall pay to the Public Trustee a fee computed as follows :-
(i.) Where the amount of the debenture is less than £500, a fee of 5s.
(ii.) Where the amount of the debenture is not less than £500 and is less than £1,000, a fee of 10s.
(iii.) Where the amount of the debenture is not less than £1,000 and is less than £3,000, a fee of £l ls.
(iv.) Where the amount of the debenture is not less than £3,000, a fee of £2 2s.
And every such fee shall be paid into the Public Trust Office Account.

Declaring Portion of Te Pohue-Tutira Road, in the Wairoa County, to be a County Road.

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Te Pohue-Tutira Road, in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Wairoa County, commencing at a point about midway along the north-western frontage of S.G.R. 104, Block XIII, Maungaharuru Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through part of the said S.G.R. 104, Block XIII, Kaiwaka No. 2 Block, Blocks XIII and IX, part S.G.R. 103 and part S.G.R. 102, Block X, Maungaharuru Survey District, and terminating at a point about midway along the north-western frontage of the said S.G.R. 102, Block X, Maungaharuru Survey District: being a distance of 5 miles 50 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38078, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured with a dotted green line and marked A B.

Bringing certain Provisions of the Mining Act into Force within certain Parts of New Zealand.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of July, 1915.

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of the Mining Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time declare that any of the provisions of the Mining Act, 1908, shall apply to prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and other mineral oils and of natural gas, and also define the district within which any such Order in Council shall take effect : And whereas by section seventy-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1912, it is further provided that any public reserve, endowment, or Native reserve within the meaning of the Mining Act, 1908, whether or not the same is situated within a mining district, may be included in any district as so defined :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Mining Amendment Act, 1911, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the provisions of the Mining Act, 1908, set out in the First Schedule hereto, and including all amendments thereof, shall apply to prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and other mineral oils and of natural gas within the districts described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
PROVISIONS OF MINING ACT APPLIED.
THE Mining Act, 1908.-Part II : Section 11, subsection (a); sections 76 to 85, both inclusive ; and section 165. Part V : Sections 261 to 276, both inclusive.
Regulations under Mining Act, 1908.-Nos. 1, 33, 91, 102, 147 to 150, both inclusive.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District being the whole of Blocks X and XI, Grasmere Survey District, and those portions of Blocks XIV and XV of the aforesaid survey district to the northward of the Broken River; saving and excepting thereout coal lease No. 28, containing 1,000 acres.

Declaring a Native to be a European.

WHEREAS by section seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Governor may by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Native Land Court, declare any Native to be a European:
And whereas Hera Puanga (Sarah Campbell), of Te Kuiti, being a Native within the meaning of the Native Land Act, 1909, applied in the prescribed form for a recommendation of the Court that she might be declared a European: And whereas the said Court, having duly inquired into the said application, has recommended that an Order in Council be issued declaring the said Hera Puanga (Sarah Campbell) to be a European: And whereas it is expedient that such declaration should be made:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on him by section seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the said HERA PUANGA (Sarah Campbell), of Te Kuiti, to be a European.
