Defining the Middle-line of a Further Portion of the Orepuki-Waiau Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the further portion of the Orepuki-Waiau Railway from the left bank of the Waiau River, in Longwood Survey District, to a point near the confluence of the Wairaki and Waiau Rivers (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorized by the Railways Authorization Act, 1911: And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain a portion of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Tuatapere Township on the southern boundary of Section 9, Block XIII, Waiau Survey District, marked 48 miles 26½ chains, which point is also the termination of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 27th day of November, 1901, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 103, page 2319, of the 5th day of the following month; and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of about 5 miles 53½ chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Tuatapere Township, Section 9, G.R. 23, G.R. 24, Section 17, G.R. 25, Sections 16, 32, 33, and 8, Block XIII, Sections 5, 6, and part 7, Block XI, Waiau Survey District—and terminating at a point in the said Section 7, Block XI, Waiau Survey District, marked 54 miles; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the Southland Land District: as the same is delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 37889, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Lands proclaimed as a Road in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessees of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Raglan County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands described in the said Schedule.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the licensee and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Waitomo County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 rood 27·2 perches.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XVI/114, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (Auckland Plan 18041.)

Land in Wellington Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Land Board of the Wellington Land District has recommended that the Crown tenants of the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which they have no control preventing the profitable occupation of such lands:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix three years from the dates mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said lands shall be exempt from payment of rent.
