His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Torere Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this third day of May, 1915.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Torere Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

AMOS CHATFIELD

to be the Torere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at seven thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolroom at Torere as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TORERE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 1 rood 19 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 43, 44, and 45, Torere Village. Bounded towards the north-east and north-west generally by Sections Nos. 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, by the abutment of North Street, by North Street, by Torere Road, by the crossing of that road, and by Sections Nos. 41 and 42; and towards the south-east and south-west generally by Torere Road, by the crossing of that road, again by that road, by Section No. 44A, by Camp Creek, and by a road reserve along the bank of the Hautapu River: save and except that portion of the Torere Road which is included in the above-described area: as the same is delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/514, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tui Park Domain.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eight, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Tui Park Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE TE AROHA BOROUGH COUNCIL

to be the Tui Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Office, Te Aroha, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TUI PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 110 acres 0 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Sections 14A and 14B, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 15, Block IX, Aroha Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road 100 links wide, 1619·8 links; towards the north-east by Section 18 of Block IX, Aroha Survey District, 2211·2 links; towards the west by the aforesaid section, 2223·7 links; again towards the north-west by a right line bearing 73° 15′, 1435·9 links; again towards the north-east by a right line bearing 163° 38′, 3358·7 links; towards the south-east by a right line bearing 254° 5′, and by Section 14C of the aforesaid block, 1515·2 and 1604·5 links respectively; and towards the south-west by Section 15 of the aforesaid block, 3494·1 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/46, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Plan 14598, blue.)
