WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.

THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of trimming, forming, and metalling the unmetalled portions of the Raetihi–Ohura Road from the top of Harris’s Hill to the bridge over the Orautoha Stream near Meyers, a distance of about 3 miles 70 chains, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence and seven-eighths of a penny (3¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Ohura Road Special-rating District, comprising all the following properties, situated within the following boundaries:—

Commencing at a point where the east boundary of Section 1, Block II, Makotuku S.D., joins the Raetihi–Ohura Road; thence generally east by the Pipipi Road to the west boundary of the said Section 1, Block II, Makotuku S.D.; thence generally north and north-west by the west and south-west boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block II, Makotuku S.D., to Section 20, Block XIV, Manganui S.D.; thence north-west and north by the west boundaries of Sections 20, Block XIV, Manganui S.D., 10, 9, and 8, Block XIII, Manganui S.D., to the south boundary of Section 6, Block XIII, Manganui S.D.; thence east by the south boundaries of Sections 6 and 7, Block XIII, Manganui S.D., to the east side of the Raetihi–Ohura Road; thence north by the east side of the said Raetihi–Ohura Road to the north boundary of Section 23, Block XIV, Manganui S.D.; thence east by the north boundary of the said Section 23, Block XIV, Manganui S.D., to the east boundary of Section 23, Block XIV, Manganui S.D.; thence south by the east boundaries of Sections 23, 25, 26, 27, and 29, Block XIV, Manganui S.D., to the north boundary of Section 7, Block XIV, Manganui S.D.; thence east by the north boundary of the said Section 7, Block XIV, Manganui S.D., to the Pukekaha Road; thence generally south by the Pukekaha Road to the north-east boundary of Section 1, Block II, Makotuku S.D.; thence south-east and south-west by the north-east and south-west boundaries of Section 1, Block II, Makotuku S.D., to the starting-point, comprising all the following properties: Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block II, Makotuku S.D.; Sections 8, 9, 9A, 9B, 10, 20, and 36, Block XIII, Manganui S.D.; Sections 7, 14, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29, Block XIV, Manganui S.D.

And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, authorized to be raised by the ratepayers of the Rangiwaea Special-rating Area, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Karioi–Rangiwaea Road from its junction with the Ohakune–Waiouru Road to its junction with the Pangarara Stream, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings (¾d.) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Rangiwaea Special-rating Area, comprising all the properties situated within the following boundaries:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of felling, clearing, and forming the Matahiwi–Ohotu Road into a dray-road from its junction with the Parapara–Raetihi Road westwards, a distance of about four miles, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny farthing (1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Ohotu No. 3 Special-rating District, comprising all the properties situated within the following boundaries:—

Commencing at a point where the south boundary of Section 1, Block I, Ngamatea S.D., joins the Mangawhero River; thence generally east and north by the south and east boundaries of the said Section 1, Block I, Ngamatea S.D., to the Mangawhero River; thence south by the Mangawhero River to the east boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Tauakira S.D.; thence north-west, south-west, and south-east by the north-east, north-west, and south-west boundaries of the said Section 1, Block VIII, Tauakira S.D., to the Matahiwi–Ohotu Road; thence generally west by the Matahiwi–Ohotu Road to the west boundary of Section 2, Block VIII, Tauakira S.D.; thence generally south by the west boundary of Section 2, Block VIII, Tauakira S.D., and Section 4, Block V, Ngamatea S.D., to the south boundary of the said Section 4, Block V, Ngamatea S.D.; thence north-east by the south boundary of the said Section 4, Block V, Ngamatea S.D., to the Mangawhero River; thence generally north by the Mangawhero River to the starting-point, comprising all the following properties: Sections 1 and 2, Block VIII, Tauakira S.D.; Sections 1 and part Lot 2, Block I, Ngamatea S.D.; Section 4, Block V, Ngamatea S.D.

And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
