NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 266, subsection (3), of the above Act, that the undermentioned companies will, at the expiration of three months from the date hereof, and unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the Register and dissolved.

NOTICE is hereby given that H. A. Parker and Company Proprietary (Limited), a company duly incorporated in the State of Victoria, has ceased to carry on business in the Dominion of New Zealand.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui County Council to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in the County of Wanganui, in the Parapara Number 2B 2M Block and in the Pungataua Block; and for the purposes of such public work to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the lands described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council in Campbell Place, in the Borough of Wanganui, and is there open for public inspection. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice (being the twenty-second day of April, 1915), to the Wanganui County Council at its office in Campbell Place aforesaid.

And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council in Campbell Place, in the Borough of Wanganui, and is there open for public inspection. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice (being the twenty-second day of April, 1915), to the Wanganui County Council at its office in Campbell Place aforesaid.

Firstly, all that piece of land containing 2 roods 37·3 perches, being part of the said Section Number 204. Secondly, all that piece of land containing 39·48 perches, being part of the said Section Number 204. And thirdly, all that piece of land containing 1 acre and 25 perches, being part of the said Section Number 205.
All situated in Block III, Ikitara Survey District; as the same are more particularly delineated and described in the said plan thereof deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council, and thereon coloured respectively pink, yellow, and blue.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD THROUGH SECTION PART OF ALLOTMENT 37 OF WESTERN PORTION OF TAUPAKI BLOCK, BLOCK IX, KUMEU SURVEY DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, by the Waitemata County Council, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road through part of Allotment 37 of western portion of Taupaki Block, Block IX, Kumeu Survey District; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the said road, and of the land as required to be taken, is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Waitemata County Council, Empire Buildings, Swanson Street, Auckland. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, within forty days from the first publication of the notice, to the County Council Office, Auckland.
Schedule.
APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 32·2 perches. Being portion of Allotment 37, western portion Taupaki Block. Situate in Block IX, Kumeu Survey District, in the Auckland Land District.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £258, authorized to be raised by the Waitemata County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction and improvement generally of the roads of the Birkenhead Riding of the County of Waitemata, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Birkenhead Riding of the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed in accordance with law, at a special meeting of the Waitemata County Council held on the ninth day of April, 1915.
