Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki 2c Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Friday, the 16th day of April, 1915, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That a lease of the Mangawhariki 2c Block be granted to Ruira Travers and Hirini Tuahine, as tenants in common, for a term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental equal to 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right for a renewal for a further twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken. Lease to contain the usual covenants.”

REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki 3B and 3C Blocks is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Friday, the 16th day of April, 1915, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the Mangawhariki 3B and 3C Blocks be leased to Arthur William Kirk and Arapeta Pahau, both of Tuparoa, settlers, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements. Lease to contain usual covenants.”

“That a lease of the Mangawhariki 1A Block be granted to Henare McClutchy, of Tuparoa, farmer, for the term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government unimproved value, with a right to compensation for improvements, or to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. of the then unimproved value.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki 1D Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Friday, the 16th day of April, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That a lease of the Mangawhariki 1D Block be granted to Eru Kemara, of Tuparoa, farmer, for the term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government unimproved value, with a right to compensation for improvements, or to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki No. 6 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Friday, the 16th day of April, 1915, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That a lease of the Mangawhariki No. 6 Block be granted to John Richmond Hale, of Tokomaru Bay, contractor, for the term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government value of the said land, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land.”

REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kinohaku East No. 2 Section 19 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Spring Creek, Blenheim, on Wednesday, the 7th day of April, 1915, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the land be leased to Robert Hunter Dowle for a term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 5s. per acre during the first twenty-one years, and 10s. per acre during the next twenty-one years.”
