INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

I HEREBY give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Irrigation District of Reefton taken on the 10th day of March, 1915, on the proposal of the Inangahua County Council to borrow the sum of £5,000 for a period of 36½ years, at 4½ per centum per annum, for the improvement of the streets of Reefton, and to augment the existing water-supply for the Town of Reefton, the number of votes recorded in favour of the proposal was 49; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 65; informal votes, 3.

I therefore declare the proposal to be lost.

ONERAHI TOWN BOARD.

Proposal to raise a Special Loan under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Onerahi Town District was taken on the 11th day of March, 1915, on the proposal to borrow by way of special loan six hundred pounds (£600) for the erection of a town hall and public offices for the Onerahi Town Board, in the Onerahi Town District.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 32; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was nil; informal votes, 1.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
