  1. The notice of the intention to claim bounty shall be
    in accordance with the following form :-

FORM OF NOTICE.

To the Minister of Mines, Wellington.
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to claim bounty in respect
of (1) pig-iron, (2) puddled bar iron, (3) steel produced from
pig iron, and (4) steel produced from molten metal direct from
the furnace [Omit so much of the foregoing as is not applicable],
to be manufactured at my factory at
and request that
this be accepted as a continuing notice [The words from
“and” to “notice” to be struck out if it is desired to claim
bounty upon one lot of goods only].

PURSUANT to notice of intention to claim, I, [Name], of

I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, after
due inquiry, the particulars and statements declared to in
the above claim for bounty are true and correct for the
purpose of the Iron and Steel Industries Act, 1914, and that
the claimant is entitled to bounty on the goods specified in
the claim.

  1. The bond required by section 11 of the said Act to be
    given by the person claiming any bounty in respect of pig-
    iron, puddled bar iron, or steel may be in accordance with
    the following form :-

BOND UNDER SECTION 11.

KNOW all men by these presents that I, [Name in full], of
[Address], in the Dominion of New Zealand, [Occupation],
am held and firmly bound in the sum of [Insert sum fixed by
Minister], to be paid to the Minister of Mines of the said
Dominion, for which payment I bind myself and my heirs,
executors, administrators, and assigns.

Whereas the said [Name in full] is a person claiming bounty
under the Iron and Steel Industries Act, 1914, in respect of
[pig-iron, puddled bar iron, or steel, as the case requires],
manufactured at [Name of place where goods manufactured] :

And whereas by section 11 of the said Act every person
claiming bounty as aforesaid is required to give his bond to
the Minister of Mines as in that section mentioned :

Now, the condition of the above-written bond is such that
if the said [Name in full], his heirs, executors, administrators,
or assigns, shall transfer to the Crown all lands, buildings,
plant, machinery, and equipment of any kind used in or in
connection with the manufacture of the goods, if so required
by the Governor at any time after the thirty-first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight (such
transfer to be in consideration of fair compensation for the
property transferred, to be assessed in case of dispute in the
manner prescribed by the Public Works Act, 1908, in the case
of land taken for public works, but in no case shall goodwill
enter as a factor when calculating such compensation), then
the above-written bond to be void and of no effect, but other-
wise to remain in full force and virtue.

Regulations for Sambur or Ceylon Deer Shooting, Counties
of Manawatu, Oroua, and Kairanga.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of
day of March, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN exercise of the powers vested in him by the Animals
Protection Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said
Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
make the following regulations respecting the Sambur or
Ceylon deer shooting season within the Counties of Mana-
watu, Oroua, and Kairanga (hereinafter called “the said
district”).


REGULATIONS.

  1. SAMBUR or Ceylon deer (stags or bucks only) may be
    taken or killed within the said district from the 1st day
    of June, 1915, to the 31st day of July, 1915, both days in-
    clusive.

  2. Licenses to kill such deer may be issued by the Chief
    Postmaster at Wellington, and the Postmasters at Palmers-
    ton North, Bull’s, Foxton, and Marton, on payment of a
    license fee of 20s., in the form prescribed in the Schedule
    hereto, and subject to the said Acts and these regulations.

  3. No licensee shall be allowed to take or kill more than
    three stags or bucks; and, further, the said Chief Post-
    master and Postmasters shall not issue more than one license
    to take or kill deer to the same person.

  4. No hind or fawn will be allowed to be killed on any
    pretext whatever; and no dogs will be allowed to accom-
    pany either the licensee or any attendant he may have with
    him.

  5. Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorizing
    any person to sell any deer or portion thereof.

Counties of Manawatu, Oroua, and Kairanga, from the

Protection Act, 1913, and the amendments thereof, and the
regulations made thereunder.
