Lands proclaimed as a Road in Block X, Toetoes Survey District, Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessees and mortgagee of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Southland County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :-
4 acres 1 rood 39.7 perches, portion of Section 3. Coloured purple on plan.
4 acres 3 roods 6.9 perches, portion of Section 4. Coloured purple on plan.
1 rood 21:1 perches, portion of railway reserve in Section 4. Coloured pink on plan.
Situated in Block X, Toetoes Survey District.
In the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XVI/100, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Declaring Lands set apart as Scenic Reserves under the Land Act, 1892, to be subject to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto were by Warrant dated the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and five, permanently set apart as reserves for scenic purposes under the provisions of the Land Act, 1892: And whereas it is expedient that the said lands should be declared reserves under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, be scenic reserves under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and its amendments.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Reserve 3679 (Rosewill Settlement), Block XI, Opawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 33, Block XI, Opawa Survey District; towards the north-east by the Gorge Road; towards the south-east by the said Section 33, and by the abutment of a public road along the left bank of the Pareora River; towards the south and again towards the south-east by the Pareora River; and towards the south-west by Section 33 aforesaid.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve 3680 (Rosewill Settlement), Block XI, Opawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north, towards the north-east, and towards the south-west by Section 34, Block XI, Opawa Survey District; and towards the north-west by the abutment of a road reserve and by Section 34 aforesaid.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 354/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twentieth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway (Karaka Deviation) to take further land between Runciman and Pukekohe, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
