SPECIAL ORDER.

PUKEARUHE LOAN, £1,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Clifton County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Clifton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling the Pukearuhe Road, the said Clifton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of one penny (5/16) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Pukearuhe Special-rating Area, comprising Sections 38, 39, 52, 53, 59, 60, 61, Block IV, Waitara Survey District; Sections 1 to 60, 62 to 68, 72, 75, 76, and 2 N.R., Block X, Mimi S.D.; Sections 4, 6A, 7A, 8A, Block VI, Mimi S.D.; Sections 1 to 117, 2A, 9A, T.B., Pukearuhe Township; Section 1, Block VII, Mimi S.D.: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was adopted at a special meeting of the Clifton County Council held on the 6th day of November, 1914, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council held on the 4th day of December, 1914.

RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Riccarton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £5,005 12s. 6d., authorized to be raised by the Riccarton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction of concrete channelling, culverts, asphalting and regrading footpaths, the said Riccarton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and one-third (2⅓) of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the south area of the Borough of Riccarton; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
