Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—KAITIEKE COUNTY.—KAKAHI VILLAGE.

Village Allotments.

Section 30, Block I: Area, 32 perches; upset price, £20.

Section 32, Block I: Area, 32 perches; upset price, £20.

Section 32 is weighted with £250, valuation for improvements consisting of a six-roomed house.

Situated in the Village of Kakahi, the access being from the Kakahi Railway-station, which is about a quarter of a mile distant by a formed dray-road. Flat land in grass, with soil of light volcanic nature on pumice formation.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Opening Settlement Land in Wellington Land District for Selection.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.

SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—FEATHERSTON COUNTY.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Huangarua Survey District.—Hikawera Settlement.

SECTION 15, Block XVI: Area, 633 acres; capital value, £5,780; rent per acre per annum (approximate), 8s. 2½d.; half-yearly rent, £130 1s.

Situated on the Pahaoa Road in the Hikawera Settlement. Access from Martinborough about twelve miles distant by metalled dray-road. Section comprises good pastoral country, with good broad spurs, felled and in grass. Soil good quality, a little hard in places, on papa formation; watered by running stream and a dam. Elevation ranges from about 500 ft. to 1,300 ft. above sea-level.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Section 70: Area, 51 acres 3 roods; capital value, £340; half-yearly rent, £8 10s.
