Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Westland and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 0 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Reserve 1566, Block XIII, Wataroa Survey District. Bounded towards the east by Reserve 1238, 1121·6 links; towards the south by an unformed road-line, 464 and 783·6 links; and towards the west and north-west by a track, 2206·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/105A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a site for a market.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Reserve 1238, Block XIII, Wataroa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the main South Road, 1152·8 links and 16·6 links; towards the east by an unformed road-line, 501·6 links; towards the south-east and south by the unformed road-line, 1280·5 links, 302·4 links, and 83·4 links; and towards the west by Reserve 1566, 1121·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/105B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a resting-place for travelling stock.

All that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres, more or less, being Reserve 1567, Block XIII, Wataroa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the main South Road, 1020·9 links; towards the east by a track, 1987·4 links; and towards the west by unformed road reserve, 2042·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/105C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. For a resting-place for travelling stock.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 202 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Section 27, Block VI, Woodland District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 28, Block VI; thence on the north by Section 3, Block V, 2877·1 links; on the north-east by a public road, 2535·6 links; on the south-east generally by a public road, 11686·9 links; on the west by Section 28, Block VI, 1955·2 links; and on the north-west by said Section 28, 2959·5 links and 2488·5 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/119, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For water-conservation purposes.

Land in the Village of Norsewood, Hawke’s Bay Land District, temporarily reserved as a Site for a Post-office.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a post-office.

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 15·7 perches, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block IV, Village of Norsewood. Bounded towards the north-west, north, and north-east by a road 50 links, 252 links, and 47·7 links respectively; towards the south-east by Section 5, Block IV, Village of Norsewood, 200 links; and towards the south-west by Section 3, Block IV, of the said village, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/92, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the fourteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
