(4.) That portion of the Kirikiri roa Road District bounded on the west and south-west by the Waikato River, on the south-east by the road along the southern boundaries of Sections 240, 241, 112, 111, 110, 109, and 108, Komakorau Parish; and on the north by the road along the northern boundaries of Sections 108, 234, 235, 237, 238, 145, 143, 142, 141, 140, and 138, Komakorau Parish.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36269, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (b) of clause 2 of the regulations.
The generating voltage shall be approximately 480 volts direct current between the terminals.
- DATUM TEMPERATURE.
For the purpose of calculating the stresses as provided in clause 12 of the regulations, the datum temperature shall be taken as 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
- NOTICES re EXTENSIONS, ETC.
Records of results of tests (Regulation 37) and notices re commencement of work (Regulation 44) and re extensions and alterations (Regulation 49) should be sent to the Public Works Engineer at present stationed at Auckland, and to the Telegraph Engineer of the district, or his deputy, at present stationed at Auckland.
- CHARGES FOR ELECTRIC ENERGY.
The charge for electrical energy shall not exceed 1s. per unit for lighting purposes, and 6d. per unit for motor-power, heating, or cooking purposes; provided that “lighting purposes” shall include the operation of motor generators for lighting purposes.
- DURATION OF LICENSE.
This license shall, unless sooner determined in accordance with the provisions hereinafter expressed, continue in force for a period of forty-two years from the date hereof. Upon the expiry of the said term, or upon the sooner determination of this license by revocation or otherwise, all rights hereby granted to the licensee shall thereupon cease and determine; but such expiration or determination shall not relieve the licensee of any liability theretofore incurred under this license.
- ELECTRIC LINES BEYOND TOWN DISTRICT.
Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained, the licensee shall not be entitled to erect, maintain, or use any electric lines within the Kirikiri roa Road District or the Waipa or Raglan Counties except subject to such conditions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this license and the regulations relating thereto, as may from time to time be agreed upon between the licensee and the local authority affected.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirteenth day of December, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that no person shall lay, construct, place, put up, or use any electric line except under the authority of a license issued by the Governor in Council under that Act:
And whereas William Carr, of Blenheim (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), desires to erect lines along the route described in the Schedule hereto, and hereinafter called “the said electric lines,” and it is expedient accordingly to issue a license in respect thereof under the said section:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said section, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, and to the regulations made under section two of the aforesaid Act, and published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and hereinafter referred to as “the regulations,” hereby authorize the licensee to erect and maintain the said electric lines for lighting, power, and heating purposes.
SCHEDULE.
- THE ROUTE OF THE ELECTRIC LINES.
THAT route commencing in Section 15, Blenheim, and running in a north-easterly direction through portion of the said Section 15, across Halifax Street, and in a northerly direction along the eastern side of Halifax Street to the Orange Hall, on part of Section 438, Blenheim. As the route is more particularly delineated by means of a black line on the plan marked P.W.D. 38861, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a) (1) of clause 2 of the regulations.
The generating voltage shall be approximately 110 volts between the terminals.
- DATUM TEMPERATURE.
For the purpose of calculating the stresses as provided in clause 12 of the regulations, the datum temperature shall be taken as 12 degrees Fahrenheit.
