connection with the construction of a bridge at the
north end of Grove Road, Blenheim :
the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of one-farthing in the pound upon the unim-
proved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough
of Blenheim. And that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able half-yearly on the fifth day of December and the fifth
day of June in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
special meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the
eighteenth day of November, 1915.

MOTUEKA HARBOUR BOARD.
COPY OF RESOLUTION PASSED AT A SPECIAL MEETING HELD
AT THE OFFICE OF THE BOARD ON 25TH OF NOVEMBER,
1915.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Motueka Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the
Motueka Harbour Board, under the above-named Act, for
completion of harbour-works at Moutere Lagoon, the said
Motueka Harbour Board hereby levies and makes a special
rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Motueka Harbour District,
comprising the Kaiteiteri Survey District from Sections I
to XI, and the Motueka Survey District from Sections I to
XIV, and the Moutere Riding Section I and part Section II ;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly
on the 1st day of March and the 30th day of September in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of forty-two and a half years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL LOAN OF £500, MANGATAINOKA BLOCK DRAINAGE
DISTRICT.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Pahiatua
County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the
Pahiatua County Council, under the above-named Act, for
the purpose of constructing drainage-works in the Mangatai-
noka Drainage District, the said Pahiatua County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and
seven-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved
rateable value of all rateable property in the said Mangatai-
noka Block Drainage District Special-rating Area, comprising
Sections 142, 143, 144, and 145, Block III, Mangahao Survey
District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Pahiatua County Council held on the
6th day of November, 1915.
