Vesting River-conservation Reserves in the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart for river-conservation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board, in trust, for river-conservation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, being Suburban Section 76, Meeanee, Heretaunga Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 1149 and 1364·9 links; towards the south by a line, 574·5 links; towards the south-west by a line, 1485 links; and towards the north-west by a line, 802·8 links.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, being Suburban Section 74, Meeanee, Heretaunga Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 200 and 531·3 links; towards the south by lines 100 and 528·8 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 455·5 links.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, being Suburban Section 75, Meeanee, Heretaunga Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 1052·7, 578·3, and 299·6 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 560·2 links; towards the south-west by lines, 146·1, 1436·3, and 621·6 links; towards the north-west by a public road, 75 links.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 18 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Section 51, Block XII, Heretaunga Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the Tutaekuri River and a public road, 270 links; towards the east by a public road, 148·4 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 1272·5 and 3318·4 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 694·5 and 2580 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 53438/68, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Waitoa Drainage District extended.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area described in the First Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Piako, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said area be included in the Waitoa Drainage District as constituted under the provisions of the said Act:
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of such drainage district in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the said Waitoa Drainage District by including in such district the area of land described in the said petition and in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said drainage district, with such addition as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN WAITOA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Waiharakeke Stream with the Piako River, thence along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of the Waitoa Drainage District as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th November, 1908, page 2898, to the Waitoa River, and along the left bank of that river to the Waiorongomai–Maungakawa Road, along the northern side of that road, the northern side of the Morrinsville–Kerehoni Road, and the eastern side of Roach’s Road to the northern boundary of Ngakuriaruru Block, along the northern boundary of that block to the Piako River, and along the right bank of that river to the confluence with the Waiharakeke Stream, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
WAITOA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line along the southern side of the Whakahoro Road from the Piako River to the Ohine Stream, along that stream to the Waitoa River and along the left bank of that river to the Waiorongomai–Maungakawa Road, along the northern side of that road, the northern side of the Morrinsville–Kerehoni Road, and the eastern side of Roach’s Road to the northern boundary of Ngakuriaruru Block, along the northern boundary of that block to the Piako River, and along the right bank of that river to the Whakahoro Road, the place of commencement.

War Relief Association of Wellington incorporated under the War Funds Act, 1915.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section twelve of the War Funds Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor may, by Order in Council gazetted, incorporate a society possessing a war fund, or the trustees of such fund: And whereas application in writing addressed to the Minister has been made by the War Relief Association of Wellington (being a society possessing a war fund), praying for the incorporation of that association: And whereas it is considered desirable to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the association known as the War Relief Association of Wellington is hereby incorporated for the purposes of the said Act as from the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall be known as the “War Relief Association of Wellington.”

Appointing a Member of the Timaru Harbour Board.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS it is provided by section seventeen of the Harbours Amendment Act, 1910, that the office of any member of a Harbour Board shall become vacant if, inter alia, he resigns his office by writing under his hand delivered to the Secretary or Chairman of the Board:
And whereas it is provided by subsection two of section eighteen of the said Act that when an elective member other than a representative of a constituent district vacates his office on the Board through the operation of the said section seventeen the Governor may, by Warrant under his hand, appoint some qualified person in his place:
