NOTE.—Pursuant to section 3 of the above Act, it will not
be lawful for any chemist whose shop is situated within two
miles of the shop referred to, by the nearest route as deter-
mined by the Inspector, to supply any goods after the hours
fixed by the requisition gazetted on 29th April, 1915, as
aforesaid.


Notice of Intention to take Land in Block X, Tarawera Survey District, for Forest-plantation Purposes.


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take,
for forest-plantation purposes, the land described in the
Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the post-office at Whakarewarewa, and is there open
for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking
of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded
objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same
in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken:
81 acres 2 roods.
Portion of Rotomahana-Parekarangi Block No. 2A.
Situated in Block X, Tarawera Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38903,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon edged pink.
