Results of Polls for Proposed Loans.

THE following notices, received from the Mayor of the City of Auckland, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

CITY OF AUCKLAND.
The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken on the 10th day of November, 1915, on the proposal of the Auckland City Council to borrow the sum of £10,000 for the extension of the water-supply in Grey Lynn Area of the City of Auckland, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1,682, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 393.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

CITY OF AUCKLAND.
The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken on the 10th day of November, 1915, on the proposal of the Auckland City Council to borrow the sum of £30,000 for drainage-works in the Remuera Area of the City of Auckland, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1,602, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 468.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken on the 10th day of November, 1915, on the proposal of the Auckland City Council to borrow the sum of £55,000 for the erection and equipment of market buildings in the City of Auckland, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1,428, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 642.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

CITY OF AUCKLAND.
The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken on the 10th day of November, 1915, on the proposal of the Auckland City Council to borrow the sum of £20,000 for the erection of buildings and equipment thereof, the purchase of plant and machinery, and the provision of all necessary appliances and equipment for obtaining, distributing, and dealing with fish, all in connection with the Auckland Municipal Fish-market, and generally for carrying into effect the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Auckland City Empowering Act, 1913, and the Auckland City Markets and Empowering Act, 1915, relating to the said market, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1,373, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 705.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Tamaki West Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Tamaki West Road District was taken on the 15th day of October, 1915, on a proposal to raise a special loan of £2,750 (two thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds) for road-improvements and other purposes in the said district, the purposes of such proposal being fully set forth in the New Zealand Herald of the 16th, 23rd, and 30th September, and 7th October, being a newspaper circulating in the said district.
The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal was 93. The number of valid votes recorded against the proposal was 18. The total number of valid votes recorded was 111.
I therefore declare the above proposal carried.
