Resuming Land for a Site for a Public School in Conical Hills Settlement, Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-four of the Land Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor in Council may by Proclamation resume possession of any land leased under Part III of the said Act, or under any corresponding Part of the Land Act, 1892, which in his opinion is required for any public purpose:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land which is held under renewable lease from His Majesty the King issued under the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, dated the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a public purpose—that is to say, for a site for a public school:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and forty-four of the Land Act, 1908, and section sixty-seven of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that I hereby resume possession of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the public purpose hereinbefore mentioned, the same being part of the land held under renewable lease as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Section 67A (formerly part of Section 16A), Conical Hills Settlement, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the Conical Hills Road and Shennan Road; thence towards the north-west by said Shennan Road, 800 links; thence towards the south and south-east by Section 16A, Conical Hills Settlement, 93° 49′, 478·6 links, and 14° 15′, 478·6 links, respectively, to the Conical Hills Road; thence towards the north-east by said road, 523 links, to the point of commence-
ment: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19423, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fifteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Land proclaimed as a Road in Block XIV, Otaio Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Waimate County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 rood 12 perches.
Portion of Section 33749, Block XIV, Otaio Survey District.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
