Public Service Stores Tender Board.—Supply and Delivery of Solder.
Wellington, 9th November, 1915.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Chairman (Government Printing Office) not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the 8th December, 1915, for the supply and delivery at the Post and Telegraph Stores, Wellington, of 3 tons of solder.
Forms and conditions of tender may be obtained at the office of the Controller of Stores, Post and Telegraph Department, Wellington, the District Storekeeper, Post and Telegraph Department, Christchurch, or the Telegraph Engineers at Auckland and Dunedin.

Applicants should possess the ability to trace plans generally. Preference will be given to applicants who have had experience in a surveyor’s office.

The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £110; maximum, £165.

APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 27th November, 1915, for the position of Assistant Medical Officer and House Surgeon, Rotorua Sanatorium, Baths, and Hospitals.

Applicants must not be less than twenty-five nor more than thirty-five years of age.

The duties of the successful applicant will be as directed by the Government Balneologist at Rotorua from time to time, and will include the treatment of patients in the Sanatorium and Cottage and Infectious Diseases Hospitals, and the treatment of Maoris in the Rotorua District.

The appointee shall not, during the time of his employment by the Department, nor within a period of three years from the date of the determination of appointment, engage in private practice within a radius of three miles of the Sanatorium.
The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.
The position will be graded in the Professional Division. Salary £380, maximum £480, per annum; less £80 to be deducted for board and residence at Sanatorium.

APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 26th November, 1915, for the position of Sub-station Attendant (Second), Public Works Department, Addington.

Applications (to be made on P.S.C. Form 17A, obtainable at principal post-offices) must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

Applicants must be qualified mechanics, with experience in the operation of high-tension electrical power plant and in switchboard wiring.

The duties will consist of shift work amounting to forty-eight hours per week, at such hours and times as the Electrical Engineer, Christchurch, shall direct; but in cases of emergency the attendant will be required to work whatever hours are necessary, either inside sub-station or at outside work until the emergency conditions are removed.
The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.
The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £180 per annum; maximum, £200.

Applicants must be qualified accountants by examination. The position will be graded in the Clerical Division, Class IV. Salary, £330.
