Special Order made by the Mount Roskill Road Board making By-laws.

THE following special order, made by the Mount Roskill Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

SPECIAL ORDER.
THE Mount Roskill Road Board hereby makes by special resolution intended to operate as a special order the following by-law, to be known hereafter as By-law No. 2.
Whereas the Mount Roskill Road Board has recently provided a water-supply for the water-supply area of the Mount Roskill Road District. And whereas the said water-supply is in danger of pollution by the keeping of pigs in proximity to the source of the said water-supply: And whereas it is deemed advisable to prevent such danger of pollution:
Now, therefore, the Mount Roskill Road Board, in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon it by the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Public Health Act, 1908, and their several amendments, and of every other power and authority enabling in that behalf, hereby makes the following by-laws:—
- No person shall keep, allow, suffer, or permit to be kept any pig or pigs within that part of the Mount Roskill Road District bounded by a line commencing towards the east at the intersection of the Mount Albert Road and Church Road, thence along Church Road to its intersection with Landscape Road; thence towards the north by Landscape Road and Boundary Road to the intersection of the latter road with Lovers Lane; thence towards the west along Lovers Lane to its intersection with Mount Albert Road, thence along Mount Albert Road to the commencing-point. And also that part of the said Mount Roskill District having a frontage to Mount Albert Road, and being Lots 38 to 51 inclusive of the subdivision of Allotments 7 and part 6 of Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland :
