KAPONGA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by
admeasurement 14 acres, more or less, being Section 69,
Kaponga Village Settlement, Block XI, Kaupokonui Survey
District. Bounded towards the north by a road, 1674 links ;
towards the east by the Manaiā Road, 963·6 links ; towards
the south by Section 98, 1710 links ; and towards the west
by the Kaupokonui Stream.

Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing
by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being Sections 29,
30, 31, 38, 39, 40, Kaponga Village Settlement, Block XI, Kau-
pokonui Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Eltham
Road, 687 links ; towards the east by Kaponga Road, 874
links ; towards the south by Kuri Road, 687 links ; and
towards the west by Sections 28 and 37, 874 links : be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and
S. I/30, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Carnival Park
Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-sixth
day of October, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the Carnival Park Domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby appoint

His Worship the Mayor of Pahiatua (ex officio),
The Chairman of the Pahiatua County Council (ex
officio),
The President of the Pahiatua-Akitio Agricultural
and Pastoral Association (ex officio),
Edward Baucke,
William Wakeman,
Thomas Henry Dawson, and
Alexander Ross

to be the Carnival Park Domain Board, having the control
of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ;
and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the ninth day of Novem-
ber, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at two o’clock
p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers,
Pahiatua, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board
shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

CARNIVAL PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by
admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 39 perches, more or less,
being Lots 1 and 4 of Section 27, Block VIII, Mangahao
Survey District, on plan No. 3223, deposited in the office of
the District Land Registrar at Wellington. Bounded towards
the north-east by other part of Section 27, 1834·2 links ;
towards the south-east by Glasgow Street, 775 links ; towards
the south generally by other part of the said Section 27,
1404·7 links ; and towards the west by Section 2, Block VIII
aforesaid, 1383·6 links.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Eastbourne
Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-sixth
day of October, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Re-
serves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed
“the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from
time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any
local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to
the said Act, control of any public domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the sixteenth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight, a
Domain Board was appointed to control the Eastbourne
Domain :
And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the fifteenth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and fifteen :
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the said domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

The Eastbourne Borough Council

to be the Eastbourne Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of
and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act ; and
doth hereby appoint Friday, the nineteenth day of November,
one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at eight o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and Wise’s Rooms, Rona Bay, Wellington,
as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be
held.

SCHEDULE.

EASTBOURNE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 315 acres, more or less, being Sections 42,
44, and 46, Block I, Pencarrow Survey District. Bounded
towards the north by Section 40, 4800 links ; towards the
east by Sections 47 and 49, 6568 links ; towards the south
by Sections 50 and 47, Block I aforesaid, 4800 links ; and
towards the west by Section 43, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey
District, and Section 41, Block I aforesaid, 6568 links.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 236 acres, more or less, being
Sections 43 and 48, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District.
Bounded towards the north by Section 41, Block I, 2020
links ; towards the east by Sections 44, 46, and 47, Block I,
and Section 49, Block IV aforesaid, 8191 links ; towards the
south by Section 50, said Block IV, 4500 links ; towards the
west by the waters of Port Nicholson ; again towards the
north by Section 45, said Block IV, 3000 links ; and again
towards the west by the said Section 45, 5631 links : subject
to a right of road 100 links wide reserved through the sections.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 161,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Exempting certain Goods from Primage Duty.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-sixth
day of October, 1915.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by Part II of the Finance Act,
1915, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in
that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
exempt from primage duty goods imported into New Zealand
being the cargo of enemy ships which were upon the high
seas at the outbreak of war.
