All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38540, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XI, Otanake Survey District, Waitomo County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block XI, Otanake Survey District :
And whereas the Waitomo County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—
3 acres 2 roods 24·2 perches, portion of Kinohaku East No. 5E, Section 2B. Coloured red on plan.
6·9 perches, portion of Kinohaku East No. 5E, Section 2A. Coloured blue on plan.
Situated in Block XI, Otanake Survey District (S.O. 18331).

Allocating Cost of taking Poll under Section 13 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, Borough of Paeroa.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of September, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section thirteen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Paeroa Borough Council shall defray all the costs incurred in connection with the taking of a poll under the said Act on the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, on the proposal to constitute the Borough of Paeroa.

Amending Trout Regulations for Rotorua Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of September, 1915.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, regulations were made for trout-fishing in the Rotorua Acclimatization District :
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and its amendments, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said regulations of the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, by making the following additions to clauses three and nine thereof :—
Clause 3.—Provided that the season for trout-fishing in that portion of the Wanganui River and its tributaries which are within the boundaries of the Rotorua Acclimatization District shall open on the 1st day of October and close on the 30th day of April in each year.
Clause 9.—Provided that in respect of the Wanganui River and its tributaries which are within the boundaries of the Rotorua Acclimatization District the dates 1st June and 31st October in line 3 shall be 1st May to 30th September.

WHEREAS by section two hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that no instrument of alienation of Native land by way of mortgage or charge, other than a mortgage or charge in favour of a State Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a Board* or the Court without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council :
And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the block or parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto : And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue :
