Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

I N pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section
of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-ninth day
of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, as
the time at which the lands described in the Schedule
hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby
fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those
mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Otamatea County.—Tokatoka Town.

SECTION 31: Area, 2 roods 7 perches; upset price, £2 5s.
Section 43: Area, 1 rood 27 perches; upset price, £1 15s.
Section 52: Area, 1 rood 27 perches; upset price, £1 10s.
Section 53: Area, 1 rood 38 perches; upset price, £1 10s.
Section 61: Area, 2 roods 1 perch; upset price, £1 15s.
Altitude, 150 ft. to 350 ft. above sea-level. Undulating to
broken land, mostly fern and manuka, with a few taraiire,
puriri, or manuka trees on each section. Clay soil of inferior
quality. Situated a quarter of a mile from Tokatoka Wharf
by cart-road.

Bay of Islands County.—Town of Russell.

Section 6, Block XIII: Area, 1 rood 2 perches; upset
price, £25.
Section 7, Block XIII: Area, 1 rood 2 perches; upset
price, £25.
Section 8, Block XIII: Area, 37 perches; upset price, £25.
Undulating and steep hillside, covered with manuka and
fern. Lots 6 and 7 will require excavating to make room
for buildings. Soil clay to clayey loam. Situated about
twelve chains from Russell Wharf by good road.

Raglan County.—Karamu Parish.

Section 186: Area, 19 acres 2 roods; upset price, £50.
Altitude, 200 ft. to 250 ft. above sea-level. Twelve acres
good river-flat, balance easy slopes; all ploughable, covered
with fern, manuka, and blackberry, with 4 acres of rough
grass on river-flat; two drainable swamps on section. Soil
mostly good river loam; well watered by Waitetuna River.
Distant a mile and a half from Waitetuna Post-office, and
seventeen miles from Frankton Junction Railway-station, by
good coach-road. There is also access from Te Uku River
Landing, about six miles distant.
