Notice to Mariners No. 71 of 1915.
AUCKLAND HARBOUR.—DREDGING OFF HOBSON WHARF.

THE Auckland Harbour Board have notified that the dredger “Hapai” is now working approximately 1,000 ft. N.N.W. of the end of the Hobson Wharf, and has six moorings laid out in N., S., E., and W. directions.
Charts, &c., affected: Admiralty Charts Nos. 1970 and 1896; “New Zealand Pilot,” eighth edition, 1908, Chapter ii, page 28.

Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments.
To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 36 perches, more or less, being portion of rural section numbered nine on the plan of West Clive, formerly known as the Hikutoto Block, and being also portion of the section numbered twenty on a subdivision plan of the said section numbered nine, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Deeds at Napier. Bounded towards the west and north by other portions of said Section 20, 99 ft. and 88 ft. respectively; towards the east by right-of-way, 124 ft.; and towards the south by a public road, 92 ft.: be the said several admeasurements a little more or less.
The last registered owner of the above land is GEORGE MONTGOMERY GARLAND, of Clive, Fellmonger, who cannot now be traced.
WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has been unable to find the whereabouts of the owner of the above-described land or of any agent of such owner in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land; and if he fails or neglects so to do, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.
