As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38350, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured with a dotted red line and marked CD.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Motu Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of August, 1915.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eight, certain powers were delegated to the Motu Domain Board for a period of seven years :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

LOUIS CARRON,
CHARLES CHRISTOPHER RUBY,
NEILS JULIUS HANSEN,
GEORGE OSWALD DONOVAN, and
GEORGE CLIFFORD TARR

to be the Motu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolhouse, Motu, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.
MOTU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres, more or less, being Section No. 31, Block II, Motu Survey District, Cook County. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 30, Block II, aforesaid, 1000 links; towards the north-west by the Whaka-paupakihi Road, 1500 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 32, Block II aforesaid, 1000 links; and towards the south-east by a reserve, 1500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57287/9, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
