Land taken for the Purposes of an Approach to a Camping-ground in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District.

[L.S.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of an approach to a camping-ground in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District:

And whereas by section two hundred and twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that land required for a camping-ground or approaches thereto may be taken as for a public work, and in the manner prescribed in that Part for taking land for defence purposes:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Defence Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said approach, and shall vest in His Majesty the King on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

A. R. P.
0  0  1·8, being part Lot 6*; coloured blue.
0  0  9·2            "      5*       "   sepia.
0  0  8·3            "      4*       "   pink.
  • D.P. 1690, being part Original Section 96, Hutt R.D.

Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38449, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public Drain in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a public drain in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington:

And whereas the Wellington City Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said public drain, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington on and after the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3·28 perches.

Portion of Lot 68 on D.P. 1087 (being part of Original Section 29), Karori R.D., City of Wellington.

Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38436, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block IV, Piopiotea West Survey District:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 6 acres 0 roods 1·6 perches.

Parts of Ohura South “F” Block 2B No. 1 (Taranaki R.D.).

Situated in Block IV, Piopiotea West Survey District.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37795, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twentieth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

And whereas agreements have been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
