Notice to Mariners No. 2 of 1915.

AUCKLAND HARBOUR.—NEW WHARF LIGHTS.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 15th January, 1915.

THE Auckland Harbour Board have notified that on and after Monday, 1st February, 1915, the following mentioned wharf lights will be established, viz.: On Stanley Bay Wharf, two vertical red lights on the centre of the end of the Stanley Bay Wharf, at a height above H.W. of 17 ft. and 22 ft. respectively; and on Victoria Wharf, Devonport, two red lights, horizontal, with a space of 5 ft. between them, on the centre of the western end of the Victoria Wharf, both lights to be 17 ft. above H.W.

Charts, &c., affected: Admiralty Charts Nos. 1896 and 1970; “New Zealand Pilot,” eighth edition, 1908, Chapter ii, page 41.

Notice to Mariners No. 7 of 1915.

HALF-MOON BAY, STEWART ISLAND.—BUOY INCORRECTLY CHARTED.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 25th January, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that the black buoy shown on Chart No. 2541 S.E. of the 7 ft. rock on north side of Half-moon Bay is inaccurately charted. The buoy at present is 340° (N. 35° W. magnetic) distant 40 ft. from the rock. The buoy will be moved to the position as indicated on the chart, and painted red at an early date.
