THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between SAMUEL SMITH, PERCY BURNARD TORSTONSON, and AGNES MARY TORSTONSON at Mokoia, as Dairy Farmers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, carrying on business as Storekeepers at Karangahake, under the style or firm of “Leach & Meekings,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by GEORGE ALFRED MEEKINGS, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of GEORGE ALFRED MEEKINGS.

I, CHARLIE SVEN WAERNBERG, sometimes called Charlie Warnberg, formerly of Stockholm, but now of the City of Auckland, Seaman, do hereby give notice that I have this day renounced and abandoned the Christian name “Sven” and the surname “Waernberg,” and that I have assumed and adopted the surname “Wilson” to the end and intent that I shall hereafter be known by the name “CHARLIE WILSON” and by no other name. A deed-poll evidencing such change of name is enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland.

BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC STREETS.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Invercargill Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain public works, namely, the widening of Catherine Street and George Street in the Townships of Charleston and Mitchelltown in the Borough of Invercargill and the widening of Venus Street and Hope Street in the Township of Georgetown in the Borough of Invercargill; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in Tay Street, Invercargill, and are open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk of the Borough of Invercargill at the Council Chambers, Tay Street, Invercargill.
The Schedule.
FIRSTLY.—Lands in Charleston and Mitchelltown, being—
- Those pieces of land in the Borough of Invercargill adjoining Catherine Street on the north, having a width of 25 links and being the frontages of Lots 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, and 26, Block I, and 28, Block III, Township of Charleston, the part to be taken of each allotment containing 4·74 poles.
- Those pieces of land in the Borough of Invercargill adjoining Catherine Street on the south, having a width of 25 links and being the frontages of Lots 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block IV, and Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13, Block VI, Township of Charleston, the part to be taken of each allotment containing 4·74 poles.
- Those pieces of land in the Borough of Invercargill adjoining Catherine Street on the south, having a width of 25 links and being the frontages of part of Lot 1, Block I, Mitchelltown, containing 10·4 poles; part of Lot 3, Block I, Mitchelltown, containing 24·5 poles; part of Lot 3, Block I, Mitchelltown, containing 4·9 poles; parts of Sub-allotments 1, 2, 3, and 4 (each containing 4 poles) of Lot 4, Block I, Mitchelltown; part of Sub-allotment 11, containing 6·4 poles, and parts of Sub-allotments 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 (each containing 4·9 poles) of Lot 5, Block I, Mitchelltown: all the aforesaid pieces of land being shown on plan deposited No. 1151 in the Land Transfer Office at Invercargill.
SECONDLY.—Land in Georgetown, being—
4. That piece of land in the Borough of Invercargill containing 11·7 poles, being that part of Allotment 6 of the Township of Georgetown fronting Venus Street of the width of 12·5 links and fronting Catherine Street of the width of 19·7 links.
5. That piece of land in the Borough of Invercargill containing 13·36 poles, being that part of Allotments 9, 10, 11, and 12 of the Township of Georgetown fronting Venus Street of the width of 12·5 links.
6. That piece of land in the Borough of Invercargill containing 16·05 poles, being that part of Allotments 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 of the Township of Georgetown fronting Venus Street of the width of 12·12 links.
7. That piece of land in the Borough of Invercargill containing 28·89 poles, being that part of Allotments 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, and 56 of the Township of Georgetown fronting Venus Street of the width of 12·12 links.
8. That piece of land in the Borough of Invercargill containing 12·92 poles, being that part of Allotments 59, 60, and 31 fronting Venus Street of the width of 12·12 links.
All the said lands proposed to be taken are shown by the aforesaid plans deposited in the office of the Town Clerk, and thereon coloured red.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN THE PIGEON BAY SURVEY DISTRICT FOR THE PURPOSE OF WATERWORKS AT DIAMOND HARBOUR.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same, to execute a public work—to wit, to erect waterworks at Diamond Harbour for the Borough of Lyttelton; and in order to execute such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Lyttelton Borough Council at Lyttelton, and is there open for inspection during office hours, and that all persons affected by the
