SCHEDULE.

GLENOMARU STREAM.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 331 acres and 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 40 and 41, Block X, Glenomaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 101 links; towards the west by said road, 537 links; towards the north-east by said road, 7874 links; towards the east by Section 42 of aforesaid block, 5292 links; towards the south-west by a road-line fronting the Glenomaru Stream, 8280 links; and again towards the west by part Section 8, Block III, Catlins Survey District, and Section 34, Block X, Warepa Survey District, 4628 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 661/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the Minister charged for the time being with the administration of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic or historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs, and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the Governor; and whereas the said Board was duly directed to inspect and report on the land described in the Schedule hereunder, and has recommended that the said land should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers contained in the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereunder shall be a scenic reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

TAHAKOPA RIVER.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 209 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being Section 23, Block IV, Tautuku Survey District. Bounded towards the north and south-east generally by a public road fronting the Tahakopa River and by the said river 10150 links, and by Section 25 of aforesaid block 1744 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 3940 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 2882 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 224/16, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SCHEDULE.

TE WAI-O-TE MARAMA SCENIC RESERVE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 34 acres 3 roods 13 perches, more or less, being the eastern portion of Section 25, Block IX, Waoku Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 26, Block IX, Waoku Survey District, 2802 links; towards the east by Te Wai-o-te Marama Stream; towards the south-west by Waimamaku B 2F and B 2D Blocks, 1940 links; and towards the west by the western portion of Section 25, Block IX aforesaid, 443·1, 533·7, 168·5, and 281·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 748/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 4623, blue.)

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Nelson Land District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirteenth day of the same month, certain land in the Nelson Land District was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the land so set apart) is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the destruction of the forest thereon:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 135 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 11 (in red), situated in Block XVI, Howard
