loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a reso-
lution making a special rate passed at a meeting of the
Western Taieri Land Drainage Board held on the 27th day
of July, 1914.

Given under the common seal of the Western Taieri Land
Drainage Board at Mosgiel this 27th day of July, 1914.

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows:--

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the
Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of trimming, forming, and metalling the un-
metalled portions of the Raetihi-Ohura Road from the top
of Harris's Hill to the bridge over the Orauthoa Stream near
Meyer's, a distance of about 3 miles 70 chains, the said Wai-
marino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of threepence and seven-eighths of a penny (3 7/8ths) in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Ohura Road Special-rating District, comprising all the pro-
perties situated within the following boundaries:--

Commencing at a point where the south-east boundary of
Section 1, Block II, Makotuku S.D., joins the Raetihi-
Ohura Road; thence generally east by the Pipipi Road
to the west boundary of Section 1, Block II, Makotuku
S.D.; thence generally north and north-west by the
west and south-west boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3,
Block II, Makotuku S.D., to Section 20, Block XIII,
Manganui S.D.; thence north-west and north by the
west boundaries of Section 20, Blocks XIII and XIV,
Manganui S.D., and Sections 10, 9, and 8, Block XIII,
Manganui S.D., to the south boundary of Section 6, Block
XIII, Manganui S.D.; thence east by the south bound-

27, 28, and 29, Block XIV, Manganui S.D.

And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on the first day of October in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and
a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I, Peter Brass, Chairman of the Waimarino County Council,
do hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a special meeting of the said Waimarino County Council
held on the 11th day of July, 1914, and confirmed at an
ordinary meeting of the said Waimarino County Council held
on the 8th day of August, 1914.

Parapara No. 2 Special-rating District, comprising all the
properties situated within the following boundaries:--

Section 9, Block I, Ngamatea S.D., joins the Ohotu-
Karioi Road; thence north and east by the west and
north boundaries of the said Section 9, Block I, Ngamatea
S.D., to the west boundary of Section 10, Block XV,
