Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tuapeka Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, 1914.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Tuapeka Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

DAVID LAWRENCE CHRISTIE,
HENRY LAWRENCE DARTON,
HERBERT HASTINGS LEARY,
WILLIAM SUTHERLAND, M.D.,
JOHN THOMPSON, and
BENJAMIN WARREN WINN
to be the Tuapeka Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eleventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of Mr. Thomas Pilling, at Lawrence, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
TUAPEKA DOMAIN.
All that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 35 acres 1 rood 37 perches, more or less, being sections numbered 1 to 8, 10, and 13 to 16, Block XIV, 1 to 20, Block XV, 1 to 20, Block XVI, 1 to 7 and 20, Block XVII, 1 to 20, Block XVIII, 1 to 23, Block XIX, 1 to 6, 17, and 18, Block XXXIV, 1 to 20, Block XXXV, together with a closed street originally known as Corsewall Street, Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Stranran Street, 2050 links; towards the east by part of Section No. 11, Block XIV, 100 links; towards the south by Section No. 9, Block XIV, 250 links; again towards the east by said Section No. 9, 100 links; again towards the north by said Section No. 9, 250 links; again towards the east by part of aforesaid Section No. 11 and by Section No. 12, Block XIV, 230 links; towards the north-west by said Section No. 12, 130 links; towards the north-east by Peel Street and the crossing of Harrington Street, 1726 links; again towards the south by Thurso Street, 1317 links; towards the west by Ardrossan Street, 700 links; again towards the south by the crossing of said street and by Section No. 19, Block XVII, 350 links; again towards the east by said Section No. 19 and Section No. 18, 200 links; again towards the south by Section No. 8, Block XVII, 250 links; again towards the west by Burrow Street, 100 links; again towards the south by the crossing of said street and by Sections Nos. 7 and 16, Block XXXIV, 600 links; and again towards the west by Sandy Street and the crossing of Harrington Street, 1500 links: and excepting out of the above-described boundaries part of Ardrossan, Burrow, and Harrington Streets, for which allowance has been made in the area.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 15 perches, more or less, being section numbered 6, Block LIII, Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Thurso Street, 1336 links; towards the south-east by New Street, 419 links; towards the south by Sections Nos. 1 and 2 of the aforesaid block, 1210 links; and towards the west by Ardrossan Street, 400 links.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, situated in the Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Rea Street, 207 links; towards the east by Lancaster Street, 500 links; towards the south by Canna Street, 106 links; and towards the south-west by Peel Street, 511 links.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Thurso Street, 253·9 links; towards the east by Burrow Street, 567·4 links; and towards the south-west by Gabriel Street, 622·4 links.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, situated in the Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Harrington Street, 154·9 links; towards the east by Sandy Street, 339·9 links; and towards the south-west by Gabriel Street, 372·9 links.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 65 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, being section numbered 30 and part of Original Section No. 20, Block XIX, Tuapeka East Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Section No. 91, aforesaid block, 1559 links; towards the north-east generally by a public road, 1871·5 links, and part of aforesaid Section No. 20, 702·1 links; towards the south-east by parts of Sections Nos. 2 and 3 of aforesaid block, 1439·4 links; towards the west by Section No. 17 of aforesaid block, 271 links; towards the south by said Section No. 17, 280 links; towards the east by said Section No. 17, 347 links; again towards the south-east by Section No. 1 of aforesaid block, 1318 links; and again towards the west by Crown lands, 3161 links.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 26, Block XIX, Tuapeka East Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Crown lands, 718·7 links; towards the east by Crown lands, 474·2 links; towards the south by Sections Nos. 5 and 4, Block LIV, Town of Lawrence, 1474·5 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 892·9 links: and excepting out of the above-described boundaries a water-race, for which allowance has been made in the area.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres and 9 perches, more or less, being sections numbered 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10, Block LIV, Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 26, Block XIX, Tuapeka East Survey District, 1474·5 links; towards the south-east by Crown lands, 894·8, 677·5, and 811·8 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 6, Block LIV, 658·7 links; and towards the north-west by Steep Street, 958·7 links.
Also all that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, being section numbered 9, Block LIV, Town of Lawrence. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 8, aforesaid block, 228·6 links; towards the east by part of Section No. 6, aforesaid block, 106·1 links; again towards the north by part of said Section No. 6, 611·3 links; towards the north-east by Crown lands, 60 links; towards the south by Weatherstones Creek, 860 links; and towards the west by Steep Street, 150 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/360A, 1/360B, and 1/360c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
