GISBORNE HARBOUR BOARD.
A POLL of the ratepayers was taken as provided for by clause 17 of the Gisborne Harbour Board Enabling Act, 1913, on the proposal to borrow £200,000 (two hundred thousand pounds) for the purpose defined in the said Act, and the following votes were recorded: For the proposal, 1,105; against the proposal, 469; informal votes, 20.
I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Minister of Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul the appointment of the undermentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely,—
Port of New Plymouth.

as appointed and described in Minister’s Order No. 453, of the 4th day of July, 1893.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block X, Castlepoint Survey District, for Lighthouse Purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for lighthouse purposes. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Castlepoint, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
