Vesting a Cemetery Reserve in the Opunake Town Board.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, 1914.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for cemetery purposes:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Opunake Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Opunake Town Board, in trust, for a public cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

OPUNAKE PUBLIC CEMETERY.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres and 20 perches, more or less, being Section 2, Town of Opunake Suburban. Bounded towards the north-east by part of Section 8 and Section 7, Opunake Suburban, 1430 links, to Wilson Road; towards the south-east by Wilson Road and Halse Place, 880 links, to a road reserve along the Tasman Sea; towards the south-west by the said road reserve, 1300 links; towards the north-west and again towards the south-west by Section 43, 60 links and 200 links respectively, to a road reserve along the Otahi Stream; and again towards the north-west by the last-mentioned road reserve, 600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1575/22, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Featherston Town Board.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, 1914.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as an endowment or for the use of the Town Board of the Featherston Town District:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Featherston Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Featherston Town Board, in trust, as an endowment or for the use of the said Town Board.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 1·5 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 198 and 200, Town of Featherston. Bounded towards the north-east by other part of Sections 198 and 200, Town of Featherston, 184 links; towards the south-east by other part of said Section 200, 200·5 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by Fitzherbert Street and Daniel Street, 218·8 links, 16·8 links, 161·2 links, and 115·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 57934/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting Te Whiti Cemetery, Takapau Survey District, in the Norsewood Town Board.

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Norsewood Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Norsewood Town Board, in trust, for a public cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

TE WHITI PUBLIC CEMETERY.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 191, Block V, Takapau Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 190 of said Block V, 421·2 links; towards the south-east by said Section 190, 500·3 links; towards the south-west by said Section 190, 422·9 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 500·8 links, to the starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/789c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
