Section 2B2, Blocks X and XIV, Nuhaka North Survey District; and terminating at a point in the said Section 2B2, Block XIV, Nuhaka North Survey District, about 61 chains south of the junction with Nuhaka River Road, being a distance of 4 miles 51 chains, more or less: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 33893 and 34659, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Waimate Settlement Roads, in the Waimate County, to be County Roads.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, 1914.
Present : THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.
ALL those roads in the Canterbury Land District, Waimate County, known as the Waimate Settlement Roads, commencing at the bank of the Waimate Stream at the junction with Queen Street and running in a south-westerly direction generally between Sections 7, 8, and 5, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, and terminating at the north-west corner of the said Section 7, being a distance of 40 chains, more or less:
Also commencing at the north-west corner of Section 5, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, and running in a south-easterly direction generally between Sections 4, 6, and 9, and 5 and 7, and through Section 3, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, to the junction with Gorge Road, being a distance of 42 chains, more or less:
Also commencing at Gorge Road, at the north-west corner of Section 13, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction generally adjoining Sections 13 and 15, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, to the south-west corner of the said Section 15, thence in a north-easterly direction generally, between Sections 15 and 17, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, and terminating at the north-east corner of the said Section 17, being a distance of 25 chains, more or less:
Also commencing at the junction with Knottingley Park Road, and proceeding in a south-westerly direction generally, between Sections 26, 24, 23, 22, and 30, 29, 28, 27, Block XIV, Waimate Survey District, and terminating at the north-west corner of the said Section 27, being a distance of 75 chains, more or less:
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34779, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.

Declaring Road in Block I, Otokia Survey District, to be a Government Road.
