Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland and Marlborough
Land Districts.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first
section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for
Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the
Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside
reserves for any specified public purpose out of land ac-
quired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no
land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily
reserve from sale the lands described in the Schedule here-
under written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified
at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so
intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
83 acres 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being Sections 11,
12, and 15, Block I, Maketu Survey District. Bounded to-
wards the north by Section 10, Block I, Maketu Survey Dis-
trict, 2961 links ; towards the east generally by a public
road, 298, 487, 429·2, 355·8, 202, 365·8, and 100 links ; to-
wards the south-east generally by the Kirikiri Stream ;
towards the south-west by Otawa or Waitaha Native Reserve,
Section 1, 1230 links ; and towards the west generally by
Section 28, Block V, Maketu Survey District, 1962, 266, 420,
341·5, and 366·6 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
IV/9, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auck-
land Plan 4700A, blue.) For water-conservation purposes.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
2 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Block IX, Matamata
Township (Block II, Tapapa Survey District). Bounded to-
wards the north-east by Tower Road, 500 links ; towards
the south-east by Block XXI, Matamata Township, 500 links ;
towards the south-west by Miro Street, 500 links ; and to-
wards the north-west by Meura Street, 500 links : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. 1913/221A, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured purple. (Auckland Plan 13203, blue.) For
a site for a public school.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, contain-
ing 2 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Block X, Matamata
Township (Block II, Tapapa Survey District). Bounded
towards the north-east by Tower Road, 500 links ; towards
the south-east by Hohaia Street, 500 links ; towards the
south-west by Miro Street, 500 links ; and towards the north-
west by Block XXI, Matamata Township, 500 links : be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/221A, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Well-
ington, and thereon edged purple. (Auckland Plan 13203, blue.)

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, contain-
ing 1 rood 2 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block VI,
Atuaroa Village. Bounded towards the north by Section 2,
Block VI, Atuaroa Village, 200 links ; towards the east by
Karaka Street, 133 links ; towards the south by Third Ave-
ue, 200 links ; and towards the west by Section 4, Block VI
aforesaid, 133 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1912/657, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auck-

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section 13,
Block III, Mount Olympus Survey District. Bounded to-
wards the north-east by a public road 75 links wide, 625·9
links ; towards the south-east by land set apart for railway,
161·7 links ; towards the south-west by Section 11, Block III,
Mount Olympus Survey District, 625·9 links ; and towards
the north-west by Section 11 aforesaid, 161·7 links : be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. VI/1 (18A), deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Well-
ington, and thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.

Also all that area in the Marlborough Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Sec-
tion 14, Block III, Mount Olympus Survey District. Bounded
towards the north-east by Section 9, Block III, Mount Olym-
pus Survey District, 250 links ; towards the south-east by
land set apart for railway, 400 links ; towards the south-west
by Section 9 aforesaid, 250 links ; and towards the north-
west by Section 9 aforesaid, 400 links : be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. VI/1 (18B), deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon

Also all that area in the Marlborough Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Sec-
tion 3, Block VII, Mount Olympus Survey District. Bounded
towards the north-west by a public road 75 links wide, 500
links ; towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by
Section 23, Block VII, Mount Olympus Survey District, 200
links, 500 links, and 200 links respectively : be all the afore-
said linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. VI/1 (18C), deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and

towards the north-west by a public road 75 links wide, 500

south-east by Section 28 aforesaid, 500 links ; and towards
the south-west by Section 27, Block VII, Mount Olympus
