Also all that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 36 perches, more or less, being Section 22, Block VIII, Heringa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a road reserve along the Tinline River, 1216·6 links and 4 links; towards the south-east by Section 20, Block VIII, Heringa Survey District, 474·5 links and 333·9 links; towards the south-west by Section 4, Block VII, Heringa Survey District, 1625 links; and towards the north-west by Section 4 aforesaid, 694 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. VI/1 (181), deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a public school.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Land temporarily reserved for Lighthouse Purposes in the Southland Land District.


LIVERPOOL, Governor

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for lighthouse purposes.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement about 600 acres, being the group of islands known as The Snares, situated in the South Pacific Ocean in approximate latitude 48° 2′ south and longitude 166° 33′ east; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/398, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Trustees for the Moa Flat Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

HENRY THOMSON,
ALEXANDER GIBSON,
ROBERT ASHLEY WESTCOTT, and
CHARLES SAMUEL GEORGE NICHOLSON

to be Trustees, in the place of James Kitto, William James, William White, Robert McLeod, and Robert Patrick, all deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Moa Flat Public Cemetery described in the Schedule hereto, in conjunction with Charles Nicholson and John Sillars, previously appointed.

MOA FLAT CEMETERY.

ALL that area of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 7 and 7A, Block I, Benger Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Section No. 84 of said block, 500 links; towards the east by a closed road (now included in Section No. 84), 890 links; towards the south by a public road, now known as Domain Road, 500 links; and towards the west by part of aforesaid Section No. 84, 890 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/71A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in Part II of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north-west by Section 4, Block XII, Tahoraite Survey District, for a distance of 758·4 links; towards the north-east by said Section 4 for a distance of 547·8 links; towards the south-east by a public road for a distance of 703 links; and towards the south-west by Section 11 of said Block XII for a distance of 550·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. II/24, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
