HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:
And whereas the Wallace County Council has applied for such consent in respect to the roads described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wallace County Council stopping the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Pohangina Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eleventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and four, certain powers were delegated to the Pohangina Domain Board for a period of ten years:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

to be the Pohangina Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Pohangina, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

POHANGINA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 18 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being Town Section No. 34 and Suburban Section No. 32B, Town of Pohangina. Bounded towards the north-west and north-east generally by Pohangina Road, 910 links, by a public road, 789·2 links, by the abutment of that road and by Section No. 32A, 825·9 links, and by a public road, 75·1 links, 323·8 links, 127·2 links, 414·5 links, 56 links, 278·3 links, 172·3 links, 125·5 links, 106·2 links, and 88·3 links; and towards the south-east and south-west generally by Sections Nos. 33 and 63, 767·7 links, 607 links, and 910 links, and by a public road, 1098 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/209A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908, as amended by the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the hour at which all polls to be held and taken in the Hutt County shall close to seven o’clock in the afternoon of the day appointed.
