Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9 acres 2 roods. Subdivisions A, B, C of Lot 5 and part Lots 1 and 4, Section 2, Suburbs of Auckland (17672, blue). Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36088, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a post-office in Block VI, Town of Arrowtown:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that on and after the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said post-office.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes as aforesaid; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36179, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red margin.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Consenting to the Granting of a Timber License under Section 280 of the Native Land Act, 1909.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of August, 1914.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and eighty of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted, inter alia, that a Maori Land Board may grant licenses for the removal of timber, flax, kauri-gum, or minerals from any land vested in that Board, and subject to Part XIV of the said Act; provided that no such license shall be granted without the consent of the Governor in Council:
And whereas application has been made to the Tokerau District Maori Land Board for the issue of licenses to remove timber from the blocks of land set out in the Schedule hereunder, which lands are vested in the said Board and subject to the aforesaid Part XIV: And whereas it is expedient that licenses to remove timber be granted:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby consent to the issue and the granting of licenses to remove timber by the Tokerau District Maori Land Board in and over the blocks of land set out in the Schedule hereunder; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made
