Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Whaingaroa Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of August, 1914.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and four, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Whaingaroa Domain :

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Whaingaroa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Raglan County Council Office, Ngaruawahia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

WHAI NGAROA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 348 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being Allotments 86 and 86A, Waipa Parish. Bounded towards the north by Allotment 127, Waipa Parish, across a public road, and by Allotment 128 of the aforesaid parish, 6000 links ; towards the east by Allotments 219 and 135 of the aforesaid parish, 5980·5 links ; towards the south by Allotment 135 aforesaid and Allotment 119A of the same parish, 5756·2 links ; towards the south-west by a public road, 427·1 links ; and towards the west by a public road, across the said road, and by Allotment 127 aforesaid, 5629·5 links : save and excepting the public road intersecting the above-described area.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 17 acres and 16 perches, more or less, being Allotment 139, Whaingaroa Parish. Bounded towards the north-east by the Waitetuna River from its confluence with the Mangakino River ; towards the south-east by the abutment of a public road and Allotment 130A, Whaingaroa Parish, 1122·3 links ; towards the south-west by the aforesaid allotment, across a public road, and again by the aforesaid Allotment, 1524·2 links ; and towards the west generally by the Mangakino River to the place of commencement : save and excepting a public road intersecting the above-described area.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less ; as the same are delineated on the plans marked L. and S. I/157A and I/157B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland Plans 6880 and 5239, blue.)

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rhodes Park Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of August, 1914.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act :

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM GILMOUR,
THOMAS MACARTNEY,
ROBERT MACARTNEY,
THOMAS OWEN MORGAN,
JOHN MCKENZIE, and
ROBERT FORBES

to be the Rhodes Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall at Tai Tapu as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

RHODES PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 14 acres and 17 perches, more or less, being Reserve 3946 (in red), situate in Block VI, Halswell Survey District, and comprising Rural Section 36625 and parts of Rural Sections 5765, 5815, and 5843, being all the land shown on Deposit Plan No. 3791, Land Transfer Office, Christchurch ; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 141/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten, regulations were made under the authority of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), inter alia, providing for an express delivery by telegraph message-boy and for special messengers : And whereas it is desirable to amend such regulations in the manner hereinafter set forth :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and by all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling him, and acting by and with the advice and consent
