Tangowahine Riding; thence bounded on the west by the
said Tangowahine Riding to the place of commencement.
Tangiteroria Riding.
Commencing at the south-western corner of Section No. 12,
Block VIII, Maungaru Survey District. Bounded towards
the south generally by the north-eastern boundary of Wal-
ton’s Grant No 1; thence by the western and north-western
boundaries of Whangai-Mokopuna to the Tangihua Trig.
Station; thence by the eastern boundary of the said Whangai-
Mokopuna; thence by the northern boundary of Walton’s
Grant No. 1A; thence bounded on the east and north generally
by the Whangarei County as described in New Zealand Ga-
zette No. 82, 19th October, 1911, to the Wairoa River at its
confluence with the Tangihua River; thence by the said
Wairoa River to the place of commencement.
Omana Riding.
Commencing at the Wairoa River at its confluence with
the Mangonui River; thence bounded on the west and south
generally by the said Mangonui River to its confluence with
the Tauraroa River; thence bounded towards the south-
east generally by the said Tauraroa River to the Whangarei
County; thence bounded on the east by the said Whangarei
County to the south-eastern corner of the Tangiteroria Rid-
ing; thence bounded on the north generally by the said
Tangiteroria Riding to the Wairoa River; thence by the
said Wairoa River to the place of commencement.
Arapohue Riding.
Commencing at the confluence of the Wairoa River with the
Mangonui River; thence by the said Wairoa River to the
centre of the road between Sections Nos. 4 and 5 of the Ara-
pohue Parish; thence by the centre of the road fronting
Sections Nos. 4, 12, 25, 26, 35, and 36 of the said parish;
thence by the north-western boundary of Sections 43, 46,
48 of the said Arapohue Parish; thence by the northern
boundaries of Sections Nos. 48, 51, and 52 of the said Ara-
pohue Parish; thence by the boundary-line between the
Arapohue and Okahu Parishes to the Okahu Creek; thence
by the said Okahu Creek to its confluence with the Mangonui
River; thence towards the north-west generally by the
said Mangonui River to the place of commencement.
Okahu Riding.
Bounded towards the west generally by the Arapohue
Riding; thence towards the north-east generally by the
Mangonui River to the point where the said Mangonui River
is crossed by the Tokatoka–Mangapai Road; thence towards
the south-east generally by the Otamatea County to the
Wairoa River; thence by the Wairoa River to the place
of commencement.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and In-
habitants of the County of Hobson was hereunto affixed by
direction of the said Council this 18th day of June, 1914,

Notice respecting Proposed Borough of Te Awamutu.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 2nd July, 1914.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that a
petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less
than one-fifth of the electors of the area described in the
Schedule hereto, being the area comprised in the Town
District of Te Awamutu, has been presented to him, praying
that the said area may be constituted a borough under the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, by name the Borough
of Te Awamutu. All persons affected are hereby called upon
to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the
proposed constitution within one month from the first publi-
cation of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be
addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs,
Wellington.

PROPOSED BOROUGH OF TE AWAMUTU.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards
the north by the southern bank of the Mangapiko River from
a point in line with the south-east boundary-line of Allotment
No. 239, Parish of Mangapiko, to the western side of the road
forming the south-east boundary of Allotment No. 250,
Puniu Parish; thence across and by the eastern side of the
road aforesaid to the westernmost corner of Allotment No. 268,
Puniu Parish; towards the east generally by the south-west
boundary-line of the said Allotment No. 268 and its pro-
duction to the southern side of the road forming the north-
western boundary of Allotment No. 277, Puniu Parish, by
the southern side of the last-mentioned road to the western-
most corner of Allotment No. 274, Puniu Parish, by Allot-
ments Nos. 274 and 275, Puniu Parish, by the production
of the western boundary of the last-mentioned allotment
to the southern side of the road forming the northern bound-
ary of Allotment No. 130, Parish of Puniu, by the said side
of the last-mentioned road to the westernmost corner of
Allotment No. 130, by Allotment No. 130 aforesaid, by
Allotment No. 129, Puniu Parish, to its westernmost corner,
by a right line; thence to the northernmost corner of Allot-
ment No. 139, Puniu Parish, and by Allotments Nos. 136
and 138, Puniu Parish, to the northern side of the road form-
ing the southern boundary of Allotment No. 139 aforesaid;
thence towards the south by the northern side of the last-
mentioned road to a point in line with the north-west bound-
ary-line of Allotment No. 143, Puniu Parish, by a right line
to and by the said Allotment No. 143, by Ruapaha Stream,
and by Allotment No. 322, Mangapiko Parish, to the western-
most corner of Allotment No. 145, Mangapiko Parish; thence
towards the west generally by the southern side of the road
forming the north-west boundary of the last-mentioned
allotment to a point in line with the north-east boundary-line
of Allotment No. 232, Mangapiko Parish, by a right line to
and by Allotments Nos. 232 and 230, Mangapiko Parish, by
the north-east boundary-line of the last-mentioned allotment
produced to the northern side of the road forming the southern
boundary of Allotment No. 238, Mangapiko Parish, by the
northern side of the last-mentioned road, by Allotment
No. 239 first mentioned, and by the production of its south-
east boundary-line to the point of commencement.

Redefining Boundaries of Borough of Waitara and of the
Counties of Clifton and Taranaki.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 26th June, 1914.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the
Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the
boundaries of the Borough of Waitara are hereby defined as
set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the
said borough having been altered by an Order in Council
dated the 13th day of May, 1913, made under the Municipal
Corporations Act, 1908, and published in Gazette No. 42, of
the 22nd day of May, 1913.
And also, in pursuance of the said section 20 of the Muni-
cipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries
of the County of Clifton affected by the alteration made
by the said Order in Council dated the 13th day of May,
1913, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule
hereto; and the boundaries of the County of Taranaki also
affected by the alteration made by the said Order in Council
dated the 13th day of May, 1913, are hereby defined as set
out in the Third Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF WAITARA.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded towards
the north generally by the southern side of Battiscombe
Terrace and its production from the western side of Ranfurly
Street to high-water mark of the sea, and by high-water mark
to a point in line with the southern side of Howard Street
