being a distance of 24 chains, more or less.

Also all that road known as Omatane Road, in the said
county and land district, commencing at its junction with
the Waimarino–Taumarunui Road and running in an easterly
direction adjoining Blocks XII, XIII, XIV, and XV, Owhango
Township, and terminating at its junction with Onge Street,
being a distance of 24 chains, more or less.

Also all that portion of Ohorere Street, in the said county
and land district, commencing at its junction with Omaki
Road and running in a southerly direction adjoining
Sections 7 and 10, Block VIII, and Section 6, Block XII,
Owhango Township, and terminating at the south-eastern
corner of the said Section 6, Block XII, Owhango Township,
being a distance of 7·50 chains, more or less.

Also all that portion of Okioi Street, in the said county and
land district, commencing at its junction with Omaki Road
and running in a southerly direction adjoining Sections 5
and 10, Block IX, and Section 5, Block XIII, and unsub-
divided portion of Block XIII, and terminating at the junc-
tion with the above-mentioned Omatane Road, being a
distance of 10 chains, more or less.

Also all that portion of Okioi Street commencing at its
junction with Onepu Road and running in a northerly direc-
tion to the junction with O’Donnell Road, being a distance
of 2·40 chains, more or less.

Also all that portion of Oru Street, in the said county and
land district, commencing at its junction with Omaki Road
and running in a southerly direction adjoining Sections 5
and 10, Block X, and Section 5, Block XIV, and terminating
at the south-eastern corner of the said Section 5, Block XIV,
Owhango Township, being a distance of 7·50 chains, more or
less.

Also all that portion of Onge Street, in the said county and
land district, commencing at its junction with Omaki Road
and running in a southerly direction adjoining Sections 5
and 10, Block XI, Section 5, Block XV, and unsubdivided
portion of Block XV, and terminating at the junction with
Omatane Road, being a distance of 10 chains, more or less.

Also all that road known as O’Donnell Road, in the said
county and land district, commencing at its junction with
Okioi Street and running in an easterly direction through
Block X, Hunua Survey District, to Section 42, Block X,
Hunua Survey District, being a distance of 26·13 chains,
more or less.

As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 35640, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventh day
of July, 1914.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Go-
vernor, by Order in Council gazetted, may, on the
recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land
comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be
specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum
Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified
the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to
the provisions of the Land Act, 1908 :

And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land
District has duly passed a resolution recommending that
the Henderson Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule
hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum
Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such
recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
do hereby order and declare that the Henderson Kauri-gum

Reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the
ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen,
cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 420 acres, more or less, being the Henderson
Kauri-gum Reserve set apart by Order in Council dated
20th December, 1898, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 93, of 21st December, 1898; as the same is
delineated on the plan marked Sales 978/10, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
ington, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Howick Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventh day
of July, 1914.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to
time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such per-
sons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and four, and pub-
lished in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and four, certain powers were
delegated to the Howick Domain Board for a period of ten
years :

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the seventh day of June, one thousand
nine hundred and fourteen :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the Domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM COOPER,
JOHN THOMAS GILL,
JAMES BRADY,
THOMAS GRANGER, and
WILLIAM GREEN

to be the Howick Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of
and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth
hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-fifth day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eight o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and the residence of Mr. A. Hulme as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

Howick Domain.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
8 acres, more or less, being Suburban Allotments Nos. 141,
142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, and 148, Village of Howick.
Bounded towards the north by Abercrombie Street, 800 links;
towards the east by Moore Street, 1000 links; towards the
south by Nelson Street, 800 links; and towards the west
by Wellington Street, 1000 links.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
1 acre 2 roods 6 perches, more or less, being Allotment 15 of
Section 7, Small Farms, near Howick. Bounded towards
the east by a public road 100 links wide, 776 links; towards
the south-east by a public road 100 links wide, 505 links;
and towards the west by Gibraltar Terrace, 210, 210, 210,
210, 210, and 197 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same are
delineated on the plans marked L. and S. I/314A and I/314B,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland
Plan 688, blue.)
