OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.
COPY OF RESOLUTION PASSED AT A SPECIAL MEETING HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, PAEROA, ON THURSDAY, THE 18th JUNE, 1914.
THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof and the regulations thereunder, the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri hereby resolve as follows:—
"That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of the principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £250, authorized to be raised by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri, under the above-mentioned Act, and being an additional 10 per cent. on the amount of the original loan of £2,500 raised for the building of a bridge over the Waihou River at the Puke, the said Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri hereby make and levy a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Waihou Bridge Special-rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and the cost of raising the loan shall be paid out of the loan."—Carried.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL RESOLUTION MADE ON NINETEENTH DAY OF JUNE, 1914.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing a new line of road from Tuawhata Block to Sec. 65, Paremata, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twentieth of a penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tolaga Riding Special-rating District, comprising the Tolaga Riding of the County of Cook; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be £4 10s. per cent.

KAIPARA QUARRYING COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of the Kaipara Quarrying Company (Limited), (in Liquidation), will be held at 106 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on Monday, 13th July, 1914, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having laid before the meeting the accounts of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of, and of hearing an explanation thereof given by the Liquidator. The company will be asked to declare, by extraordinary resolution, how the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator are to be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of members of the Hibberd Prepayment Machine Syndicate (Limited) duly convened and held at the Chamber of Commerce, Auckland, on Thursday, 18th June, 1914, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind-up the same."
As also was the resolution, "That Messrs. JAMES BANNATYNE GRAHAM and JAMES HENRY MACKIE be and are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between WILLIAM WALTER CAMPBELL and FRANCIS GARNET WARRING, carrying on business at Tikokino and at Ongaonga as Coachbuilders, under the style or firm of "Campbell and Warring," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
The Tikokino branch of the business will in future be carried on by the said WILLIAM WALTER CAMPBELL, who will receive all debts owing to such branch; and the Ongaonga branch of the business will be carried on by the said FRANCIS GARNET WARRING, who will receive all debts owing to such branch, and who will also pay all debts due by either branch of the said business.
