LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a public recreation-ground.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres and 24 perches, more or less, being Section 57, Block I, Upper Taieri Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Section 11 of Block I aforesaid, 848·5 links; towards the east by part of Section 11 aforesaid, 736·2 links; towards the south-east by part of Section 11 aforesaid, 900 links; and towards the west by a public road, 983·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/526, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
DOUGLAS McCHEYNE McINTOSH,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Rawene, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
As witness my hand this twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of the Defence Amendment Act, 1912, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize Colonel Ralph Anderson Chaffey, v.d., attached to New Zealand Staff Corps, to convene General or District Courts-martial, whilst employed as Officer Commanding a Military District, for the trial under that Act of such persons subject to military law as are for the time being within the territorial limits of his command.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
