Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Trotter’s Creek Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of June, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and four, certain powers were delegated to the Trotter’s Creek Domain Board for a period of ten years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM NICOLSON,
ARCHIBALD ALEXANDER MCWILLIAMS,
ALFRED HULL,
JOHN KEMP,
WILLIAM SINCLAIR DALRYMPLE TROTTER,
DONALD JAMES ROSS, and
ROBERT ARCHIBALD WALKER

to be the Trotter’s Creek Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the school, Kartigi, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TROTTER’S CREEK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 182 acres and 10 perches, more or less, being Section No. 36, Block XI, Moeraki Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 10 of aforesaid block, 4654·2 links; towards the south-east by the abutment of a road and Section No. 18, 2538·8 links, and by Sections Nos. 21 and 23 of aforesaid block, 4952·8 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 45 of aforesaid block, 9495·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/187A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tauhoa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of June, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seven, powers were delegated to the Tauhoa Domain Board in respect of the Tauhoa Domain for a period of seven years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Tauhoa Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eleven o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the County Council Chambers, Warkworth, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TAUHOA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 9 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 2A, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 176, 517, 461, 273, 126, 502, 195, 122, 169, 214, 73, 191, 207, and 84 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 1510 and 1352 links.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 9 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section 10B, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 302, 28, 162, 374, 234, and 141 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 93, 216, 149, 257, 226, and 277 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 843 links; and towards the north-west by Section 10A, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, 988 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/521A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland Plan 2905, blue.)

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 78 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Allotments 145, 146, and 148, Parish of Tauhoa. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 1, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, and a public road, 1709, 1536, 49, and 193 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 120 and 302 links; again towards the north-east by the crossing of a public road and by a public road, 291 links; again towards the south-east by Allotment 75, Tauhoa Parish, 2184 links; towards the south-west by Allotment 147 and the crossing of a public road, 888 and 100 links; again towards the south-east by a public road, 528 links; again towards the north-east by the crossing of a public road and Allotment 147 aforesaid, 1336 links; again towards the south-east and north-east by Allotment 75 aforesaid, 251 and 1246 links respectively; again towards the south-east by Allotment 76 of the aforesaid parish, 238 links; towards the south-west by a public road and the crossing of a public road, 562, 561, 507, 740, 324, 314, 418, and 903 links; and towards the north-west by a public road and Allotment 70C of the aforesaid parish, 2591 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/521B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
