Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VI, Omona Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block VI, Omona Survey District:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

A. R. P. 1 3 4 Part Sec. No. 1, Matemate-aonga Block, Taranaki R.D. VI Omona P.W.D. 35558 Bordered green.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Kaitangata.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a street in the Borough of Kaitangata:

And whereas the Kaitangata Borough Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said street as from the date hereinafter specified, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Kaitangata; and I do also hereby direct that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of May, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection two of section eighteen of the Public Service Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Public Service Commissioner may, whenever it appears advantageous to the Public Service so to do, certify to the Governor that it is expedient to add any office to or to abolish
