PURSUANT to section 14 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fourth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to His Excellency the Governor, praying that the said area may be excluded from the County of Southland and included in the Borough of Invercargill. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration within one month from the first publication
