BOROUGH OF INGLEWOOD.
RESULT OF PROPOSAL TO RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN OF £3,000 FOR STREET-IMPROVEMENT PURPOSES.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Inglewood taken on the 22nd day of September, 1913, on the proposal of the Inglewood Borough Council to borrow the sum of £3,000 for street-improvement purposes, the result of the poll was as follows: The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 131; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 85; informal, nil.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the seventh day of April, presented to the Honourable William Alexander Sim, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by the Otago Central Foundry and Engineering Company (Limited), of Alexandra South, a creditor of the said company. And the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
